Who We Are:

Founded in August 2008 by Chelsea Shepherd (Mae Lay) and Courtney Stone (Sally Von Trample), Tilted Thunder Roller Derby is Seattle's premier banked track roller derby league. Tilted Thunder is a volunteer-run organization kept alive and rolling through the support of our members and our community. Tilted Thunder is committed to developing amateur athletes for competition, and promoting their physical and mental strength and independent spirit.

Tilted Thunder is always looking to grow our derby community. Curious about what it takes to be a skater? Have a love of rules and want to become an official? Looking to support your local roller derby team and want to volunteer at one of our events? Look no further, we're here to answer any questions you have!

SUPPORT OUR MISSION

Tilted Thunder could not keep rolling without the support of all of you! It is through direct donations, sponsorships, and the Fred Meyer Community Rewards Program that we are able to keep smashing our goals and serving our community. We thank you for your support.

Acknowledgement:

Tilted Thunder acknowledges that we are on traditional lands of the Coast Salish Peoples, the first peoples of the PNW. The Coast Salish People are a large, loose grouping of many nations with numerous distinct cultures and languages, some of whom include the Duwamish, Snoqualmie, Muckleshoot and Sammamish tribes. These tribes and nations are still here, continuing to be stewards of their ancestral lands and waters, to honor and celebrate their heritage and pass down their knowledge to future generations.
